Competitive Programming

Throughout the semester, ACM will be hosting local programming competitions. We are currently working out the logistics for the competition, including rules, locations, and sponsors for the prizes for each competition. When we’ve worked out everything we need for our first competition, we’ll be posting the information here, as well as sending out an email through the department’s mailing list. So far we know we will have the competitions regularly the 4th Monday of every month at 5:30 PM. We will have our first competition Monday March 3rd at 5:30PM in OCNL 431. In the meanwhile, we’ve selected a few problems to get you started. As an added incentive, submitting a correct answer to at least one of these problems before the first competition will give you a chance to win a prize donated by our sponsors. In order to compete, you will need to create an account on the online judging site.Problems:

If you have any questions, you can leave a comment on this page, send an email to compete@chicoacm.org or attend any of our meetings.
